He ended up taking the rap for Joy – he told them he was the one who kidnapped the truckdriver, so he could cross her off his list. That’s why the whole “Free Earl” thing is coming up on the season opener.
He is because he told the judge that he robbed the store so that his ex wouldn’t be in jail pregnant.
