Why do white people call themselves rednecks?

’cause they usually work and play outside and their neck is always getting sunburned….and their necks subsequently get red due to lack of sunblock.

I’ve never heard any white people call themselves that. I would assume they are joking with eachother?

My Georgian friend refers to herself as a Southerner…and to family members she doesn’t like as rednecks.

I wonder why If I called a white person a redneck then I’m a racist..Double Standard!

Same reason my black friends walk up to me and call me the N-word, but is ready to fight any white guy who says it.

And that reason is…I have no idea.
