I beat my kid all the time : I beat him at cards, I beat him at chess, I beat him at Monopoly, I beat him at arm-wrestling, I beat him at checkers, I beat him at Nintendo. Actually, that is a lie, I don’t beat him at nintendo.

The Christian Republican Rednecks beat their children because they think they are doing the right thing and want to punish their children. What it really is is child abuse. I agree with you. It’s sick.

there is a definite difference between a spanking and child abuse. one had better define what one terms the difference. a spanking of a child is permissible in my opinion for this is letting the child know they did something wrong and a parent is displeased with the child’s behavior. but to literally beat a child is totally different and shows an entirely different topic. a lack of control and a power trip for the abusive parent

I happen to be a Christian Republican in CALIFORNIA who grew up on a little bit of country, little bit of city, little bit of mountains, & a little bit of beach. Got through it with lots of love, no tree hugging, no liberal stuff, without being gay, no beatings, no abuse or neglect. Now I’ve raised 3 children in the same fashion, who are also Christian Republicans raising their children in the same fashion I grew up in, that they grew up in, thriving on love! IMAGINE THAT..IN CALIFORNIA!!! (And yes, we do have trees, we l@@k at them, don’t hug them!)
