Why Are ‘hillbillies And Rednecks’ Stereotyped As Racist When They Are Not?
from what i see, hillbillies and rednecks just go about their business for themselves and their kin. i dont like it how the papers make out that these people are ‘racist’. why do they do this?
also, i am sure there are black hillbillies / rednecks as well.

They are just harmless white folks trying to go about their own lives.
Because it the media’s(who coincidentally happens to be non-practicing Jewish men and women) part to divide us. The more hate and fear they spread to us, the more the group controlls us. In all honesty, a black man has less to fear from a redneck than he does another black man in his own neighborhood. The true irony is, the media basically says it is okay to hate white men because they controll everything. But those white men are typical non-Christian who controll everything. So all the non-whites hate all new testament following white people.
They are no more racist than any other group of people. It’s just more socially acceptable to stereotype and oppress poor working whites than any other group (it’s ‘okay’ to do it because they are ‘ignorant’ and ‘racist’, lol). Even whites (or should I say especially?) are encouraged to do this. And yes, there are black hillbillies/rednecks.
Both terms Redneck [they wore red kerchief at their Orange meetings] and Hill Billy [Billy Boys Followers of William of Orange] are terms applied to Scottish presbeterians who mover to the Appalatian mountain region of USA in the early 18th century, many of them had lived in Ulster [on land taken from Catholics by England ]before leaving for America. They are largely descended from the border people to lived on both sides of the Scottish/English border where they developed a society based on lawless raiders unaccountable to either Scottish or English law. There are many of this ilk still living in Northern Ireland and Scotland where they are called Billy Boys and have been the source of anti-Catholic discrimination leading to the partition of Ireland in 1921 and religious disharmony in Scotland.
Wherever this breed resides it always leads to bigotry and hatred, as seen in the USA.
They are truly a remnant of the religious hatred which existed in Europe in the 16th, 17th and 18th Centuries, but for some reason, possibly genetic, they are unable to evolve socially like the rest of us and have become marginalised in the greater society which has moved on.
Because most of them ARE. I have witnessed it for myself. They know nothing about other cultures…and seem to not realize that they live in the most diverse country on this planet…they continue to live in their own little world. And it’s true. I never even heard of a redneck until I moved to Gastonia,NC a few years back…waitressed…and met some rednecks and hillbillies…who will admit their hatred towards other races…especiall blacks and Mexicans. They would always tell me…”oh, you’re nice for a black girl…we only like you…blah blah blah blah”…and then most of them will tip so poorly…ahh…that use to piss me off!
Goes back to the days of the KKK. There is still a hangover from those days but thankfully America in this case and the rest of the world are becoming better at accepting that we are all only different outwardly but inwardly we are all human and have been made the same way.
so what is the “definition” of hillbilly and redneck? they cant help the fact that their life is so much better. bet most of your answers are yankee racist.
Most of the time they are racist and try to kill black people.
So you are sterotyping them the opposite way
i know a few rednecks and they R racists.
I suggest you go study the election map on where Obama got the least votes. They are racist.
but most of the time they are
probably in the past a lot of them were racist .. :-S
