I’m from North Eastern Tennessee and it is pretty awful around here. I have never been to Mississippi or Louisiana.
Mississippi is in the Deep South, Tennessee is in the northern part of the south, so I would say that homophobia and racism is more prevalent around there.
I love Tennessee, and find rednecks hilarious.
But in my opinion probably Mississippi.
Mississippi is more Red than Tennessee.

im from oklahoma and my job and my family makes me want to say oklahoma.

look at wyoming, that state has only 500,000 people! it’s full of the hick(est) people you could imagine!
the only places where i don’t seem to find hicks are in every major american city. therye everywhere!
