Which name for my son: Austin or Dallas? please read inside?

6

I love both, and no, I’m not Texan! Also, my family is not “redneck” at all.

I don’t know which fits better.
Here is the criteria.
I want the name that sounds better with the last name Acevedo.
Austin Acevedo or Dallas Acevedo.
I want the one with the richer history, just better sounding name in general, and the one that is more masculine and ages well.
Which one is this?!

Thank you

Austin Acevedo :)
In my opinion Austin is more handsome than Dallas, and I think it will age better too.

If you’re having trouble deciding between the two, why not compare meanings?
Austin is of French and Latin origin, and means “great, magnificent”.
Dallas is of Gaelic origin, and means “from the dales, the valley of meadows”.

Dallas sounds more masculine, but Austin is more popular. You can always go with Austin Dallas or Dallas Austin. I like Austin Tyler and Dallas Mitchell or Dallas Anthony.

Connor Dallas
