okay this is easy. my girlfriend got me a basket. and in that basket was a huge stuffed girraffe, and a book.

1. even though hes a redneck, he will still like this. get him a huge stuffed animal (his favorite)

2. get a movie or an item from your first date with him

3. make a book, of at atleast 100 reasons why you love or like him. include pictures and illustrations.

btw if you think he isnt soft enough for it, youd be suprised. my girl thought i was and when i got this stuff i cried. its the thought and love put into it. good luck

Well first off you said Christmas/Birthday. Does this mean his birthday is on or around Christmas? If so…you HAVE TO celebrate BOTH! You CANNOT get him a single present for BOTH. Trust me, people born on or right before or after Christmas constantly receive only ONE present for BOTH and they hate that. I mean how would you feel if YOU got handed a Christmas present for your birthday? Or a birthday present but no Christmas present? My sister was born on Christmas day and she HATES IT because noone celebrates her birthday so I always throw a birthday party instead of Christmas and when the birthday presents are all unwrapped we all do Christmas for a while. So my point is that you should make sure whatever you get to get both a Christmas AND birthday present. And wrap birthday in birthday paper, Christmas in Christmas paper. He will appreciate that you care enough to celebrate both. As for presents, does he play video games, like music? How about movies, t.v. he likes? Or sexy boxers, or maybe he needs some new tackle, or bait, or gun, or hunting clothes. Basically here is my advice. You know him better than any of us online. And the clue to a great present truly is the thought. I don’t mean however that you can buy a crappy present and say it’s the thought that counts and it will therefore be great. No what I mean is that when it’s time to buy a bf, gf, friend, family member a gift you STOP thinking about COMMON, EASY gifts like clothes, cologne you STOP thinking about what YOU like or don’t like, and you just think about EVERYTHING the person receiving the gift is interested in. It DOES NOT MATTER if YOU are interested in it, it DOES NOT MATTER IF IT’S STUPID IN YOUR OPINION!!!! It doesn’t matter if you think it’s weird, gay, dumb, unnecessary or any other thing. You must get inside your boyfriend’s head and look at it the way he would. You need to get into this! Have fun with this! Use this as the great opportunity that it is….the opportunity to get to know your boyfriend better, to get closer to him! Start PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT HE USES DAILY, WHAT HE GLANCES AT IN THE STORE, WHAT HE GAZES AT IN WONDER ON T.V., WHAT HE TALKS ABOUT, SOMETHING HE ENVY’S THAT SOMEONE ELSE HAS, SOME COOL THING THAT WOULD REALLY HELP HIM THAT HE WOULD NEVER SPLURGE ON HIMSELF!!!!!!!! GET INTO IT! If you like or love this boy you will find that discovering the perfect present for him, that excitement you will get thinking about his face when he opens it, thinking about him using it or showing it off will give you so much more joy than receiving a present ever could. But the good news is you still should receive a present! =) But it is more fun to make your loved ones happy than it is to get some gift. So have fun with this. Remember, it TRULY IS the thought that counts, not the price. But ALSO REMEMBER it is the THOUGHT that counts and that despite the fact that people say that when they give a crappy gift and they act like that’s what the saying means, that as long as you got ANYTHING you can have a great gift….that is NOT WHAT THE SAYING MEANS!!!!!! It means that if you truly, truly find something that matters and is important to the person, something that proves you put A LOT OF THOUGHT INTO THEM AND THE GIFT THEN THAT IS WHAT COUNTS!!!! Something that proves you listen to their likes and dislikes. Their wants and needs and something that shows you truly support their favorite things and understand them. You wanna know what my absolute favorite gift from a bf was? It wasn’t the jewelry or clothes or perfume. Nope none of that. It was a book. Yep that’s right. I didn’t even like the book. But it was given to me by a guy I barely knew when he asked me out and it was so important to me because I LOVE reading and books, but I NEVER told anyone back then because it seemed so dorky. So the fact that he not only found out my big secret but also supported me and didn’t think I was a dork, and had even gotten a book from my favorite subject and he had done so because he secretly looked at the book I tried to hide when him and his friends dropped by once made it amazing. So it obviously wasn’t the book itself that was amazing, but rather the fact that he put so much thought (and as I later learned so much time standing awkwardly in the book store asking for other girl’s opinions) and everything into that gift, made me not only save that book to this day and say yes and make out with him in my joy, but it also made it my favorite gift ever. Over all the other expensive gifts I’ve ever gotten. So you see you must PAY ATTENTION, PUT REAL THOUGHT INTO IT, SHOW HIM YOU CARE, ETC.!!!!! Good luck hun!
