What is your opinion on the word, Rednecks?

Half white/half ape.

Rednecks? Ha. My kids call my husband and myself rednecks. They are all white-collar business men and women. They may make fun of us sometimes but boy do they shut up when their car is broken and even their mom can fix it!! Nobody likes a redneck until their car breaks down!!!

I’ve heard blacks try to use it to deman whites but I have chosen to reciprocate their reactions to verbal sparring with name calling. From now on they should regulate their speech (most do anyway unless there have a 5 to 1 ratio). If I hear cracker, honky , or redneck in my presence I will chimp the f*ck out and probably start cracking people. Hey you asked for it. The free ride is over.

I am going to assume you meant to use the word “appropriate” and not “operate”. But isn’t that a person whose neck is red?

Only white ppl seem to be hung on that word, so to be honest… I could care less.

It’s so weird, ’cause I know some white folks that take pride in the word and some that are hurt or offended by it.

I use it all the time when describing Americans. Sueee me, and go eat a cheesebuuuurger.

A redneck is someone who is hardworking, doesnt care what other people think about him, dresses so bad because he probably cant afford no better clothes,lives in rural south(especially tennessee) he cares about his family and friends and will do whatever he has to do to protect them.for the most part i would say hes a good person and a true american
