Geeesh why do people think Bentley is a good name. Trust me, my name is Bentley and you DO NOT want to name you kid it!

Bentley and Dallas aren’t exactly girl names, but please don’t name him Ashely. You can name him Colter Riley, that’s cool.

Macey is pretty and Bentley is the best of the boys names (but both remind me of the show ‘teen mom’). I think your names are a little too trendy and too different. Oh and Ashely (Ashley) tends to be a girls name.

If you’re using terms like “redneck”, then you should be familiar with the connotations. The saying goes “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” but the sad fact is that many people do. Please don’t give your kids names that they’ll hate. It may be cute to you now, but your child will have to live with it. Do you really want your kid to be made fun of in school?

In response to your question, I think you need to rethink your naming guidelines. Try to think how this person (your child) will feel about their name when they are 8 years old, 12, 20, 40, and 80 years old.

Also, remember that this name will be the first thing potential employers see on your child’s resume.
