This Is To Larry Birkhead?
I couldn’t find an email on LB’s website, so here goes my comment for all the world to see.
Larry, I know you will be changing your daughter’s name to Dannielynn Hope Birkhead, and dropping Stern’s and Marshall’s (why Marshall’s to begin with??) names. Out of respect for her mother and brother, I would keep Dannielynn as the first name (ugh) but PLEASE call the child “Hope”. Dannielynn is the most redneck name ever!!!! Plus, “Hope” definitely suits this child, given that is all she’s had so far in her short precious life.

You have the right to your opinion. But, I think Dannielynn is a good name, especially because she was partly named after her brother.

I think maybe that her first name should be kept – as strange as it is. It’s the one connection she has to her mother and her brother. Maybe Larry could call her Hope – just call her by her middle name – we all get our weird nicknames. Hope is definately more suitable for her but in honour of those she loved and lost – it should stay the same.
