Rednecks is a term frequently and relished by liberals. Conservatives aren’t prone to use the word redneck because they can appreciate the spirit many of these so-called rednecks possess, namely
a patriotic view of the country, and a general attitude of self-reliance. Why are some people so passionate about speaking out against racists attitudes, but these SAME people have no problem using
the disparaging term of redneck against their fellow Americans? Is it because redneck is not a race?
So what? What is so sacrilege about race?
Antonio, I know you have no problem calling me an inbred, redneck, etc. Why did you ignore my quesiton, however? I asked why it is ok to call me a redneck, but not ok for you to call a Mexican
a wetback? Explain yourself, if you can?
check it out, even Y.A. who is obviously run by liberals won’t allow you to use known disparaging words about race, but it does not block out the word “redneck”. I love doublestandards of liberals, and how they pretend it doesnt exist

So I’ve lived in Alabama my whole life. I don;t know 1 person who is inbred or have ever had sex with their siblings or even dated their cousin(Some have but didn’t know it). Still people believe the south is incest or inbred and we’re all rednecks and hicks. But most of us aren’t. I’m just wondering were this originated.

Serious question… is it because most of them are backroad rednecks that believe gays don’t exist and are serious drunkards? or that they like to shove their religion in your face?

i see people on tv & cartoons refer to mississippi & alabama as the south & if they go there, there is no technology, no ac, just rednecks shotguns & all that hillbilly & redneck stuff.&lots of trees.but i live in missisippi so it kinda pisses me that people are thinking that all poeple here are like that
cuz they are being stereotypes. where i am it is a big city, not like newyork or altanta but its a city, an average city. with freaking electricity!so i dont get why people think why w are rednecks.

So, today I bought the season 3 set of my name is earl. I watched it, and seriously what happened to that tv show? I use to love it.. it made me laugh so hard.. but am i the only one that thinks that season three just wasn’t all that funny? To me, it seemed like they stole a lot of themes from the Shawshank Redemption during the jail scenes (like when he got locked in solitary, etc). Also, the “other cops is on” wasn’t near as funny as the first “our cops is on”. I don’t know. I was disappointed.
I just wanted to take a poll
what did you think of season three of my name is earl and why do you feel that way??
(( If you liked season three feel free to express that too. I wasn’t trying to offend anyone.. just opening it up for debate. thanks))

I’ve never been a fan of anything *too* redneck (LOL) but we have been considering some double first names if this next baby is a girl (not really a fan of any for boys..).
What’s your opinion of double first names?
Oh definitely nothing like Bobbie Jo lol! We actually had two options in mind, Lauren Grace and Hannah Ruth.

Why do people think the midwest is all rednecks?
