I love this show, and I never see anyone posting questions about it. Anyone else think this show is hilarious?
Only one person? You guys are missing out on a funny show!

I would just like to know why it’s considered “bad” to like someone who might be seen as a redneck. I happen to be attracted to guys that hunt, fish, drive pick up trucks and work blue collar jobs. Just because someone lives on a rural farm or in a trailer park doesn’t mean that they have sex with family members or farm animals. It also doesn’t mean that they are missing half of their teeth or that they drink moonshine or whatever. I’ve met a LOT of really hott “good ol’ boys”. Society seems to look down on these people though. My city friends try to make me feel bad about liking rednecks and it really bothers me. I’m just not attracted to city guys for some reason. I’m also not attracted to rich guys and I don’t know why. Am I weird for feeling this way? My family wants me to find someone who is wealthy but that doesn’t matter to me. Am I being stupid?

Are you guys racist to all races that arn’t white?
Or are you guys more about the confederate tradition and not so much on the racial differences?

Sorry if this question offends anyone but I do know this redneck that I work with and I am not white and was wondering if I should stay out of her way or if she had some pre-mediated ill feeling towards me.
I’m not classifying everyone in the south as a redneck. I’m classifying redneck as anyone that considers THEMselves as redneck.

What I am asking is, what are the poor white-trash people called in the UK? What would be the name for the UK equivalent of Americans who drive pick-up trucks, listen to country music and watch NASCAR and wrestling on TV. If you are a redneck, please don’t answer this question with a defensive reply.
To give a better example.

Consider the band Motorhead. They look and sound just like an American Southern redneck band except they are British. What would people that listen to Motorhead be called in the UK.

Okay, well I might move to North Carolina. I’m Indian, and I heard that there is a lot of rednecks in North Carolina. That doesn’t make me exactly excited to move there. So is it really that bad? And if there are rednecks, what do they discriminate against?
I have nothing against rednecks, I just haven’t been near anyone who is and I heard that they’re racist. If they were as “nice” as some people mentioned, then I wouldn’t care. I’m also not stereotyping North Carolina, I just want to know.

…and why do they love such strange things? Like NASCAR, George Bush, professional wrestling, war, guns, country music, Jeff Foxworth and other things that just seem so strange?
