I live in the midwest(Michigan) and im not a redneck. I dont like wal-mart, i dont farm, i dont worship Jeff Foxworthy, and i shower daily.
Why do people think the midwest is all rednecks?

Obama’s statement about bitter voters clinging to their guns and religion, etc seems to sound like he just called everyone in Pennsylvania who isn’t supporting him a redneck. Does he really have such a low opinion of working class Americans?

I was looking at some of the questions and answers about them, and almost everyone thinks they are mean, untrustworthy, dirty, stupid and inbred, WRONG! They are some of the friendliest people and I don’t know where you got your info from, but we do have education, and are small town business owners who work as hard or harder than you. They don’t like to be around big business people, that is all because big business is untrustworthy. I am a redneck, and I KNOW.
