Spiritually speaking, do other countries have rednecks, and what’s your word for them?

Yeah, In Denmark we have hooligans and inbred racists.

In England we have Chavs in Scotland they have Neds, they are not quite the same thing but our closest equivalent.

Chavs. But they’re not exactly the equivalent to rednecks.

Tasmanians (said with humour) or inbreds is what we use in Australia to describe a redneck.

England’s CHAV’s are viewed in the same way as rednecks they are looked down upon. They are the butt of a lot of jokes. They are considered ignorant, stupid, scary and un cultured as well as just plain odd just like rednecks. BUT a CHAV is nothing like a redneck simply because our countries are different and we produce a different type of malcontent.

‘Bogans’ . . is more an ‘ignorant’ course ‘mouth’ than a hard core racist .
