Generalization gets everyone into trouble. You’ve generalized about “the Arabs” in a manner that could be considered just as offensive as to call a person a redneck, referring (as you imply) to all Americans).

umm your not helping the whole “western knowledge” cause here…you spelled “us” wrong…and its not OK. last I heard redneck was a slur just like terrorist when used indiscriminately. smart people are everywhere. good people are everywhere.

Minorities can’t have immunity to stereotyping and slurs if they’re going to use them also. If ethnic groups want equality, they have to settle for equality, not superiority.

However, the previous posters are also correct: there are far fewer Muslims in this country that refer to Americans as rednecks than Americans that refer to Muslims as terrorists.

That is human nature, people will always generalize. People say Jews are cheap, blacks a drug dealers, arabians are terrorist, christians are ignorant (I agree with the last one, ahaha) blah blah blah. In the end think of it this way, that is the problem of those people who generalize, they will never get to know any of the people who are good and helpful.

Treat them the way you would want to be treated.

Actually, neither of us should judge each other……… for we should know what we are……… and what we did…… only God has the power to say what you are….. you said they call arabs terrorist, but do you think what they said is true??? if you get angry and hate them, that means what they said is true since you believe what the say, is it correct???…… if we know a person is mentally ill, will you go to him and shouted at him??? if you do, i think you are stupid because that man is ill, and that’s what they do…….
