Is it wrong for me to have southern pride if i live in the north?
I was born and raised in upstate new york, in the deep deep back woods. We have just as many rednecks here as you would find in any southern town. Is it weird for me to have southern pride?

No, your just representing who you are.
As long as you’re not being shot.
Southern Pride is usually associated with people from the south. I would say that you have northern pride without the southern flag.
I guess yours would be more redneck pride or backwoods pride. But all backwoods people are a family in spirit so I wouldn’t mind either way.
