Is It True That Queensland Has A Lot Of Rednecks? What About Wa?
I’ve heard about Queensland having a lot of rednecks (bogans…whatever you want to call them), so is it a good idea to stay clear of there? What about WA?

Yes, QLD does have quite a few rednecks…I see you are from the US so I would say that Queensland is like the deep south. Downtown Brisbane does not, but the farther you get away from the city, the more rednecks you get.
Queensland and Western Australia are the same as anywhere else in Australia and the rest of world.
There are all sorts of people here including bogans.
I don’t think that’s any reason to avoid either state.
We have a lot more to offer than the occasional bogan.

Oh that’s funny. Ok, like everywhere, you will have your suburbs that are ‘redneck’ inhabited but, no, generally speaking, Queensland does not have a lot of ‘rednecks’.
I do not know about WA – but I hear it is a beautiful place.
No, you will find rednecks in NSW only.
