Is being a redneck a good quality?
I have a friend who referrers to herself as well as members of her family as rednecks. She has no problem saying this to me and I am black. At times I feel a little uncomfortable, because of my own interpretation of what a redneck is. If she calls herself this in front of me (black as I maybe) then maybe it isn’t what I thought it was?

depends. iv’e known plenty of people i would call rednecks, and other people who are called rednecks yet i just refer to as jackasses. the people i call rednecks are just hard working bluecollar people who go to church and are gun owners. their some of my best friends, too bad obama calls them bitter.
No, it’s a bad quality. Rednecks pride themselves in being ignorant, low life, white trash.
