The draft was abolished in 1973. So, the hippies “moved on.” Hippies died in 1973 as the reason for their existence was no longer needed. I am not sure what your definition of a redneck is. I guess U.S. citizens place great stock in the Democrat and Republican labels. Having met members of congress, it is difficult to understand why anyone would vote in your elections.

Funny and some what true at the same time. Yes, I agree. Hippies are liberals and believe that we should help everyone who needs help. Rednecks believe you should work hard and take care of your own problems. I like a little bit of both more than I like one or the other.
