I am Confused About Rednecks/Hicks/Hillbillies? Am I One.?
Ok, well I live in new york acctually long island to be excact. I have many many relatives and family in upstate ny and southern states mainly georgia and norh caroline. I live a normal suburb but many people call me a redneck since I wear cut off jeans big belt buckles john deere hats carhart jackes and work boots. Also they (my friends) call me a redneck since Ive got a bad mouth, wont wear any thing but jeans or cut off jeans, hunt, fish, 4 wheel, dirt bike and go mudding. My GOOD FRIENDS are called rednecks ussaly aswell. We are also kind of racist not like the KKK or any thing just don’t bleive in illegal aliens and stuff. We go dirt bikin every day 2. What am I a redneck/hick or what??? White trash?? Oh and I listen to Country and Classic rock

I’m not trying to be rude. I am just answering your question. The way you describe yourself it sounds like your white trash. When I think of redneck I think farmers that own cattle and/or horses that are outside most of the day (usually earning themselves a red neck) and hick I think the people who have very heavy accents like parts of Texas, Southern Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, etc. And does anyone believe in illegal aliens? Theres a difference in have a strong opinion about a political issue and being racist. And by strong opinion I dont mean being an ashole about people or judging them.
