Get some research about what a red-neck really is. I happen to be one and I do have all of the modern conveniences and I’m very selective about what I watch as well. I also go out and find that they’re are more people like you who put mouth in gear before engaging brain.

if you accept Jeff Foxworthy’s definition of Redneck it is simple.
Redneck: someone displaying a glorious lack of sophistication.

under this definition everyone is or knows a redneck, not all rednecks are so all the time.

Redneck is just an old expression. People that worked in the fields were called rednecks b/c they had a red neck from working in the sun. I think you are talking about a way of life, but am unsure.

What exactly is your definition of Redneck?

I grew up in the country, I am a professional, and am working on my MBA. I am open minded. I vote Democrat.

BUT, I still love to ride horses, I know the difference between a bull and a cow. And I am smart enough to know that a dog shouldn’t lick me in the face when I saw it eating cow crap 30 seconds before. I believe in Jesus Christ, Capitalism, and I still think that America is the best country to live in. (though there are others that are pretty great too, it suits me) I support the military and I have members of my family that compete in Rodeos.

So please elaborate on “Redneck” Let me just guess, it’s anyone in the south that doesn’t walk and talk like you. That put’s family and friends ahead of their prada handbag. Like one individual said, it’s called diversity. And living in America makes it possible.

To make a comment like this makes you more “Redneck” than most Rednecks, because it is ignorant and small minded.
