Jaxson (That spelling, Jackson is fine), Bentley, Brantely, Hailyn and Addison… yes.

The rest are fine.

no i don’t think so, and i don’t think it matters what anyone thinks of those baby names! they’re all really nice names, I particularly like logan odysseus

I think that the first two and last boys names are kinda redneck, but not really. and I don’t think any of the girl names are redneck at all

Jaxson seems rural, because it’s contrary to the traditional Jackson and a variation of Jason.

I’ve never heard of “Brantley” as a name and “Odysseus” sounds rather pompous unless there’s a familial connection.

Other than those comments, they seem like usual names, nothing too extra-ordinary.

Jamison Daniel kinda sounds like it to me , but the rest not so much. and I think the only reason that one does ot me is because they are both names of different alcohol.

oldwolf1951 @ 2:15 am #

Nope more Appalachian Mountains and Southern traditions than anything but would not classify as Redneck in and of themselves.

Eve @ 2:44 am #

Haha, if you named your kid Jameson Daniel, people would think you’re an alcoholic.
That’s like naming your kid Smirnoff Bacardi.
Odysseus is way too out there, again, people would think you were drunk when you named him.

gracie-girl @ 3:34 am #

No way, sir. :)

? ????? ? @ 4:23 am #

Well, they can be. But I’ve seen some classy people with some typically “low class” names ;-)

Merrick Li @ 4:45 am #

Oh yes damn redneck just like Johnny Knoxville!

Kimmy Gibbler @ 4:46 am #

:( kind of, except for Carmen May and Logan Odysseus, and the boy middle names are fine, and Laurel is fine, too, but the others, yeah

Cierra @ 5:06 am #

no I don’t think so I think names like: bob, billy, bubba, bobby, joe, etc. names that don’t have a lot of letters to help with spelling lol

tinkerbellluvs69 @ 5:56 am #

they certainly do not sound redneck … all are very unique
i like jaxson daniel the most not real sure about hailyn laurel …maybe rose , elizabeth hailyn marie

Hattietudee @ 6:21 am #

Yes I do, and they are amazing names.

I’m from the Ozarks and yes, those are mostly redneckian names. What is a Hailyn?

Anyway, redneck names have moved from the era of tacking “Mae” and “Ray” to a name to devising names that sound traditional yet require stuffing more consonants onto the name. Example: Mattyson or Mihckaylla. I suppose the driving notion was that the child’s name would be viewed as unique when really all that resulted is that mother appeared to be illiterate.

The middle names that you have listed above are nice and normal though.

Bentley William is cool
