are rednecks basically conservatives and blue collars the liberals?
I know, but there’s a lot of rednecks in Texas, and Texas is the most republican state in the US…and then there’s a lot of blue-collared people in the northern east coast states…and the majority of those states are democrats

well rednecks just means whites who works outside doing manual labor, hence redneck, neck turns red from exposure to the sun.
Blue collar jobs are jobs manual labor jobs like construction, election etc.
This really isn’t an intelligent question, but you will find blue collar jobs filled with people from conservatives all the way to liberals.
Stay in school kid
Well in the south.
Redneck is to country folk as ghetto is to poor families living in the hood. Both black and white people can be redneck or ghetto.
Redneck people… they do actually eat opossum and other odd animals not usually consumed… They drink alot… They are loud, usually obnoxious… And… they usually look flushed… like to fish/huht… like to drive broncos/trucks… and are associated with stuff like this:

It can be seen as such. Rednecks are thought of as people who are true believers of the founding fathers’ core philosophies and not just what is written on paper (constitution, bill of rights, etc.) They are IMO more loyal to his country, which is why you see things associated with patriotism, such as country music, the NRA, armed forces, NASCAR – all of which appear to be more vocal about their patriotism than any other single group of Americans.
Blue collar workers are more liberal because a large majority of them are also loyal to the union movement. The unions are all liberals, because they believe in the post-Teddy Roosevelt philosophy that the government is a service provider. There’s a reason why they’re fans of government – blue collar vocations are usually monotonous, and would be treated unfairly if it weren’t for the unions.
Keep in mind that I consider country and government as two completely different things. And the difference between rednecks and blue collar workers are just as different. Government is the three branches (leg, exec and jud) that governs everyone, whereas country is all about freedom and anarchy.
