are hillbillies and rednecks prejudice against dark skinned Italians and people of color?

I live in a hillbilly redneck town and while it is true that some of the hicks that live here refuse to accept any dark skinned individual others don’t care what color you are just as long as you’re a good person.

Where I live in Tennessee, people *seem* to not be prejudice against minorities. However, I live in a well educated town in Tennessee where there a few rednecks. Natural selection and the Metropolitan Community Church bred them out. lol

Not that I know of. That would be intolerant.

However it is a fact that homosexuals are abnormal, unhealthy, negative, shameful and unacceptable. Since that is a proven fact, it is perfectly acceptable to hold these views and make them public. The media, pubic schools and universities are teaching harmful lies, but the truth will always prevail.

I love the person, however, the homosexual act is shameful and wrong and destructive to our society.

Well let me just say that the white side of my family is mostly allllllllll racist. And yes, they’re from the south. Haha

Most rednecks are like that. It’s sad, really.

But oh well. Too bad for them. They’re just ignorant.

Well the phrase hillbillies is a slur… it usually mean uneducated, plain Jane country folk. People are usually not fond of being called hillbillies… However it seems rednecks are usually proud to be called rednecks… but there are some people with redneck tendencies that are not prejudice. I know a girl who is not prejudice at all but insist on flying a rebel flag… she doesn’t know any better as you thinks its a “southern pride” thing…. but to her it’s not a symbol of hate or prejudice.

Anyways.. I live in very rural Kentucky and there is good and bad just like anywheres else… but the darker the skin the more negative that will be said…

I used to work in a grocery store and during Xmas there is this candy that is called southern cream drops… they are chocolate on outside and white cream in middle… a guy come in and said “I see you got your nigger toes out” I said “yes sir and they have honky filling as well” sometimes people’s ignorance just has to be pointed out.

i think it depends on the person-
the type of hillbilly and redneck- not all are the same- not all whites, blacks, asians, hispanics, etc-
but i think many people do discriminate- against dark skinned people-
especially people who come from areas- such as the south that have been known places to discriminate against people of color-
either way there is always going to be a fool in the bunch- a brainwashed idiot- who doesn’t realize we are the human race- before individual races-
