I don’t hate anyone without knowing them. It’s just as bad as someone else stereotyping the LGBT community and saying they hate all of us without ever knowing us.

i have met some rednecks that were great people. my black friend and i ran out of gas and some rednecks gave us some gas to get us to the next town , they were not racist at all.

I reserve “hatred” for the universally evil. I have little to do with “rednecks” but they do vary. There are those that label themselves as “rednecks” who are simply from the backwoods and show little, if any, of the characteristics you mention. Hitler was worthy of hatred, along with others quite like himself.

No, I do not hate rednecks. Many of my friends are rednecks. I’ve been called a “redneck” many times, though I do not see myself as one.

And no, I don’t hate racist people. They are just insecure and confused people that have problems. But of course, all people are “racist” in the sense that we consciously and sub-consciously make generalizations and have prejudices. It’s just the way the mind works. We can’t always think everything through logically, so we use what I call “shortcuts to thinking.”

Some people are racist (which isn’t right) but you should try to make them understand that its wrong. Use compassion and understanding.
